Metro Parent

A few weeks back I did an editorial piece for Metro Parent's July Issue. I was really excited about doing this because It's my first time being published. I haven't seen the paper yet since I'm in Boston and Metro Parent is a Michigan based paper. But I am being mailed one. If you are in the Metro Detroit area Make sure to pick one up and check it out :)!
The illustration was for an article about taking family trips to presidential/educational places.

It's been way too long

Well Hello!

It's been far too long since my last update!
Here are a few sketches from the past month.

I have an editorial piece for Metro Parent that I will be posting July 1st. I also plan on doing some patterns and new mugs in the next week or two. So no more long gaps of me not posting anything :)

I was in SF for two weeks and then basically headed straight for Boston after my trip. Converse is going really great and I'm keeping really busy there. (these are my excuses for not posting. TISK! TISK!)

Bird Painting

a couple weeks ago it was my friend Grant's Birthday. So I sent him a little birthday package. I totally forgot to take a picture of the painting I sent him, so he was awesome enough to take one for me.

I'm an official CCS Alumni

On Thursday I finally Graduated from CCS. On Friday the opening for the CCS Student Exhibition was held, which is what these pictures are from.
First photo is my friends and fellow illustrators Scott Daley and Chris Houghton. They both have a year left, but super talented and great guys! I'm going to miss them. The Second photo is with my best girlfriends Lauren and Maria. Maria also graduated from CCS! The last two photos are of me and my senior wall!

sketches, a vampire, and some news!

I don't ever upload sketches, so I figured I would! I pick drawing on tracing paper over a sketchbook any day!
and then here is a quick vampire I did for fun the other day.

I also have some exciting news to share! I am no longer moving to San Francisco (right away). I will be interning at Converse in Boston, MA. I am extremely excited about this! :)
I am still visiting SF from May 27th till June 9th. and then I head off to Boston until August 7th.

31 days!

Today is the one month marker till my big move to San Francisco.
Actually, it's the 31 day marker since there are only 30 days in April.
